Obituary of James Joseph O'Shea Jr.
James J. O’Shea, Jr., 69, of Danbury, husband of Brenda (Ruppell) O’Shea, died peacefully on Friday, February 7th at Danbury Hospital with his cherished wife by his side. He was born in Danbury on June 15, 1950, son of the late James, Sr., and Bridget (O’Sullivan) O’Shea. He was a graduate of Silvermine College with a degree in fine arts.
In addition to his devoted wife of 49 years, Brenda, he will be sadly missed by his sisters, Anne Binnie, and Eleanor Taylor; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Frances (Jazinsky) Ruppell; and his brother-in-law, Don Taylor.
He was predeceased by his father-in-law, H. Kenneth Ruppell; and his brother-in-law, Dr. Hugh Binnie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 14th at 10:30am at St. Peter Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
