I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Sprock passing. As a young engineer having just graduated from college back in 1986, I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Sprock at NY Telephone. He was a great colleague and a mentor to me and the team. May god bless his kind soul as his presence impacted so many people that still think of him often. Thinking of Marty. Martin was a gentleman, woodcarver, and my friend. The world was better with him in it and I’m sorry he has shuffled off this mortal coil. My deepest sympathies to you, Carol, and the entire family. Martin always glowed when talking about you with so much love, respect, and pride. The picture attached was taken not long after my father, Walter, died and Martin included me in a trip to visit the USS Nautilus. I will keep happy memories like this, carving retreats, carving meetings, and learning from Martin about carving and life alive and well and I know the rest of the guys and I will speak of Martin often and with fondness and respect.
