Obituary of Thomas Carrig Foster
Brookfield – Thomas Carrig Foster, age 20, of Brookfield passed away on Tuesday May 3,2022 in Canton, New York. He was born on February 8,2002 in Blacksburg, VA to Ian and Lindel Foster and he was the loving older brother to William and Jack.
Thomas is also survived by his grandparents: Colin Carrig of VA, Pauline Hahn and Fred Read of NC, Christine and Sam Girgenti of Australia, Maurice Foster and Denby Hobbs of Australia as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Thomas was a 2020 graduate of Brookfield High School. His time on the swim team with his friends defined his years there and he was affectionately known as “T-Fo”. He especially loved the annual training trips to Florida and pasta parties. Thomas was a Life Scout in Boy Scout Troop 135, and particularly enjoyed camping and hiking. Thomas’s favorite hobbies were playing 6-hour (plus) strategic board games with his friends and listening to music. Friends meant the world to Thomas and he was blessed to be surrounded by those who showered him with love. Thomas was currently finishing his sophomore year at St. Lawrence University, majoring in Geology.
Thomas’s family will receive relatives and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home 247 White Street Danbury on Saturday May 7,2022 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the funeral home at 5 p.m. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
