My favorite memories of my cousin Donna are from when I was little and she would come and pick up me and my brother and take us out to play basketball. We would go get McDonald's and Italian ices. Sometimes pizza. We would also go to her house to watch TV or watch movies. It was always fun to be with Donna! May God bless you and keep you forever, Donna. I love you. I found a few pictures that she sent me over the years. I'm praying for you Ashley and Theresa and for your father and grandparents.

Mrs. DeFreitas was an extraordinary person. Her laugh was the kind that brightened up your day, as hers always did. She had the best sense of humor. I am so lucky to have countless memories laughing with Donna, Ashley, and my mom whenever went to our dinners at Panera and Maggie's. We'd stay for hours and have a blast together. I'm incredibly grateful for all of those memories, and will continue to cherish them forever. Mrs. DeFreitas was an angel when she was here on Earth — truly the most selfless person, and I know that selflessness will live on through the beautiful daughters she and Mr. DeFreitas raised together. She was truly the most beautiful person, inside and out. Everyone she knew's life was better because they knew her, and I'm going to miss her very much.

Rest in Peace Donna. Your strength always amazed me. My deepest condolences to Donna's family. I worked with Donna at Fairfield County Bank in a branch and whenever she came in to see us it was always a pleasure to speak with her. I enjoyed working with her referring insurance. She always had a smile, positive attitude, and always helped my cutomers's needs. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Donna. May God Bless you all. Doreen Pastorok

My most favorite memories with Donna were when we went to our dinners with the girls. We would talk about anything and everything and we would laugh so hard and so much for hours on end. Even closing down the restaurant some nights. I love the laughter and light she always brought with her. I will always keep these memories close. As I think of her, my heart will be smiling.
